A short (but very hard) 15.9 mile challenge at Great Seal State Park that will introduce the first hike-a-bikes and advanced descents. A mountain bike is the general weapon of choice, but if you want a serious challenge come on a CX bike. This route starts up the famed Barbed Wire climb, but it isn’t the steepest climb on the route. On this challenge you will conquer Bald Hill, No-Where Moutain, and Gnarly Death Mountain (Sugar Loaf – up and down at mile 9). This challenge is not to be taken lightly as it will push your fitness, hiking legs and your descending skills their max.
